Contact Care Needs to make an appointment for us to visit you for a chat about how our services can be tailor made for you. We are happy to visit you at home to discuss ways we can help and then, once you have decided, you simply leave the rest to us.
Every member of the Care Needs team has been through a rigorous vetting procedure before they start working with us. In addition, all staff will always be in uniform and carry a personalised identification card which shows their name and photograph.
Yes, we are registered with The Care Quality Commission (CQC). We are also a member of the United Kingdom Home Care Association (UKHCA). At Care Needs we always strive to improve everything we do and exceed the customers’ expectations.
The cost will depend on the level of care that we have been asked to provide, and an individual assessment will be made, free of charge. Care Needs has experience working with multi-source funding and will try and accommodate most circumstances.
We try our best to match the Carer with each of our clients and at the outset where the client does not like a particular Carer we will try other Carers until the client is happy. We then assign a team of regular Carers to minimise disruption and to avoid confusion for the Service User. We also monitor how many Carers visit each Service User and we adhere to strict rules about how many different Carers can visit a client.
Yes, our Carers are able to prepare simple meals. We can provide something such as a sandwich, toast, microwave meals or reheat a homemade meal.

Yes we do, with strict rules and assessments.
As many or as few as you wish from the following:
We can start the care package once all the necessary procedures have been completed. This does take time and is not something we like to rush. On average we ask that you give us 7 days once the assessment has taken place. We can and have however, in exceptional circumstances, supplied care in shorter periods than this.
Yes, you do and if you are a private customer would like to see a copy of this please contact us and we will send you one. If you are a local authority or CCG Service User you will be asked to sign an acknowledgement to agree to your care plan.
The office is manned Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:30pm. Outside of these hours there is always someone on call for emergencies. In emergencies, you can telephone the office number which is 0161 428 7628 and someone will be available 24 hours a day.
Some people are entitled to help and we can provide guidance on this, so please do not hesitate to contact us.
Of course, so long as it is safe to do so, our Carers will positively encourage you to go out as much as you wish and will be happy to accompany you. What area of the country do you cover? Whilst we are based in Stockport we can provide care to any area south of Manchester.
